SS501′s Park Jung Min debuted in Japan as Romeo.
On September 5, SS501′s Park Jung Min released a debut single in Japan, “Give Me Your Heart.”
On July 12, Park announced in front of his fans and Japanese reporters that he would debut in Japan as Romeo.
Romeo is a separate identity from Park, which lies in Park’s subconsciousness. The meaning of the name conveys Japanese fantasy.
The best musician participated in Romeo’s debut single.
“Give Me Your Heart” is produced by Jeff Miyahara, a producer of Amuro Namie, V6, KAT-TUN, and JUJU. Danaka Noriyuki, a creative director of such top celebrities as Oguri Shun and Sawajiri Erika, Sony Ericsson, and Shiseido, participated in the single as a visual director.
The global company Yamaha Corporation and Label Big Entertainment, which represents the popular Japanese singing group Southern All Stars, will promote Romeo and his debut single.
“Give Me Your Heart” has been topping the pre-sale charts of major online music stores, Tower Records, and Tsutaya.
Park will hold a showcase on September 29 in celebration of the release of his debut single.
