Group SS501′s Park Jung Min will appear on a Taiwanese TV series.
On the 31st, Park attended a press conference for the Taiwanese TV series Sugar Cake Garden in Incheon.
Park said, “Since it’s my first TV series, I thinks have been making some mistakes while shooting the series. But it is a great honor to shoot the series with other famous people.”
Lee Se Chang, who plays the role of a vice president in the series, and other actors attended the conference as well. Kingone Wang, who plays one of the lead characters with Park, said, “I love beautiful views in Korea. If I have chance I want to perform in Korea too.”
The series will air all over the Asian countries, including, Hong Kong, Macao, Indonesia, Vietnam and more.
Park plays the role Park Hee Hwan, who is a successor of a famous company. Park, who released his album in Korea last year, will become popular in East Asia.
The series will air on Taiwanese TV CTS next year.

After filming for 3 months, idol drama ‘Fondant Garden’ which is produced by Angie Chai had changed their main actress abruptly from Shara Lin to Jian Man Shu. The tape which the film crew have finished shooting and editing will be voided; the loss is nearly 10 million.
It was reported that Angie Chai had previously seen the tape after the filming and was not satisfied and even asked the director to re-film it. Comic Ritz expressed that “Angie Chai wants to bring out the best for the drama, there’s still room for improvement for some of the previous scenes. Although the loss is not small, the quality for a drama is the most important.”
‘Fondant Garden’ actors and actresses were only officially revealed to the media one month ago, Shara Lin not only went to Hualien for filming, she has also learnt how to make cake for the drama. After everything, it was said that the main actress will be changed which triggers curiosity. Shara Lin’s manager said “Because the filming of drama has been delayed, she also needs to record for her album after that and thus, she withdraw from the drama.”
As for the change of main actress, Comic Ritz said ‘In the first place, our contract with Shara Lin will end in November, if we were to re-film everything now, it will of course be delayed and everything which includes the styling will be to remake again. We did not change our actor because we are against them, it’s simply that they could not meet with the schedule. Main actor Park Jung Min’s schedule was also coordinated many times.”
The filming location of the drama is now in Korea. Recently, the drama crew specially held an opening ceremony for the drama to shoot smoothly. Created by Angie Chai, idol drama ‘Fondant Garden’ starring Park Jung Min, Kingone Wang and Shara Lin have been shooting for half a month. Korean star Park Jung Min came to Taiwan for the drama filming films a fake drowning scene whereby it turns real when Shara Lin pulled him down the sea. He who is not familiar with the water yelled continuously “It was so scary, she wants to murder me.” He was asked if Taiwan girls are really man (in characteristic), he laughed and said “(They are) So fierce!”
Park Jung Min is a standard flower boy said that he is actually concerned about the relationship with one another the most when he comes to Taiwan for filming. He revealed that he contacts with Kingone Wang by sending text message but did not contact the actresses in private. After hearing what he said, his Korea manager immediately explained that it is to avoid rumours “I was the one who doesn’t allow him to send text messages to girls.”
As for what was written in the text message? Because Park Jung Min typed it in Korean, it still made Kingone Wang at a loss for what he was trying to say till now. He said “I had to flip the book after reading his text message, but I still don’t understand anything.”
Park Jung Min who came to Taiwan not only uses Chinese during the filming of drama with the other actors, he even used Chinese throughout the entire interview, and is really putting in efforts on it. The drama crew inevitably taught him the ‘*Three Character Classic (*Cursed/Vulgar word)’ and he almost blurted it out at the scene which made his manager nervous and stopped him immediately. This makes Kingone Wang said “His burden is relatively heavy.”
Kingone Wang who is 31 years old took another challenge of acting in an idol drama, as all of his working partners are all younger than him, he jokingly said “I am used to it.” And yesterday, he acted like a big brother at the scene. He also acted in the drama ‘Next Heroes’ recently. Because he was acting deep into the drama, he became arrogant outside the drama which his father is unable to stand it and told him to pay attention (to his attitude).

Created by Angie Chai, idol drama ‘Fondant Garden’ starring Park Jung Min, Kingone Wang and Shara Lin have been shooting for half a month. Korean star Park Jung Min came to Taiwan for the drama filming films a fake drowning scene whereby it turns real when Shara Lin pulled him down the sea. He who is not familiar with the water yelled continuously “It was so scary, she wants to murder me.” He was asked if Taiwan girls are really man (in characteristic), he laughed and said “(They are) So fierce!”
Park Jung Min is a standard flower boy said that he is actually concerned about the relationship with one another the most when he comes to Taiwan for filming. He revealed that he contacts with Kingone Wang by sending text message but did not contact the actresses in private. After hearing what he said, his Korea manager immediately explained that it is to avoid rumours “I was the one who doesn’t allow him to send text messages to girls.”
As for what was written in the text message? Because Park Jung Min typed it in Korean, it still made Kingone Wang at a loss for what he was trying to say till now. He said “I had to flip the book after reading his text message, but I still don’t understand anything.”
Park Jung Min who came to Taiwan not only uses Chinese during the filming of drama with the other actors, he even used Chinese throughout the entire interview, and is really putting in efforts on it. The drama crew inevitably taught him the ‘*Three Character Classic (*Cursed/Vulgar word)’ and he almost blurted it out at the scene which made his manager nervous and stopped him immediately. This makes Kingone Wang said “His burden is relatively heavy.”
Kingone Wang who is 31 years old took another challenge of acting in an idol drama, as all of his working partners are all younger than him, he jokingly said “I am used to it.” And yesterday, he acted like a big brother at the scene. He also acted in the drama ‘Next Heroes’ recently. Because he was acting deep into the drama, he became arrogant outside the drama which his father is unable to stand it and told him to pay attention (to his attitude).

Today’s filming scene was pulled back to Taipei Danshuei and it was also specially opened to the media to visit the set. Kingone Wang expressed that in order to film this drama, he specially went to learn Korean even asked Park Jung Min to be his little teacher in order to strengthen his Korean more.
Not only Kingone Wang had to learn Korean for the drama, Park Jung Min is also working hard in learning Chinese. Because of the language barrier, Park Jung Min and fellow actors and actresses made a lot of jokes. However, Park Jung Min’s Chinese is improving and is able to communicate with everyone seamlessly. Actress Shara Lin praised that Park Jung Min is cheerful and is easy to get along thus they are extremely happy while working together.
Park Jung Min had a lot of interesting stories during his filming in Taiwan. Recently he had to film a drowning scene in Hualien and in order to save him, actress Shara Lin pulled his pants accidentally. Park Jung Min continuously used Chinese and said “Pervert! So lustful!” which made everyone laughed. However by recalling this scene, Park Jung Min is still lingering with fear and exclaimed “I almost died.”
During the interview, it started to drizzle. Kingone Wang constantly said “*Water represents good luck”. However, Park Jung Min who was aside directly held up an umbrella unexpectedly pulled Shara Lin and Lia Lee in to avoid the rain. The reaction of the ignorance for his image allows everyone to see his funny side.

His Chinese is getting more fluent and he admitted that it was indeed pressurizing from the start but learning Chinese is not difficult to him. Instead, he was worried about how to break the language barrier and relationship with everyone. However by looking at him mingling with everyone at the scene easily, we can see that he really put in his utmost effort to break the ice with everyone.
During his long stay in Taiwan, Park Jung Min expressed that he went to Hualien because of the filming which left a deep impression on him. Park Jung Min was full of praise for Taiwan famous food, he said that his favourite food was beef noodles and as for the rich flavour smelly tofu, he said directly that it was so terrifying but also expressed that he is still willing to try it if there is still a chance.
Being in Taiwan for 3 months, it is inevitable that Park Jung Min misses home thus he took advantage of the filming gap/break and went back to Korea to visit his family a few days ago. As for Mid-Autumn Festival, he did what as Romans did and experienced barbecuing like the people in Taiwan while celebrating. Lensing ceremony was held on 27th July 2011, and shooting expected to take about 3 months whereby they will be going to Korea for scene shooting.
For your info, the drama title has been confirmed as《翻糖花園》as on 29th July and the drama will be broadcast on 華視(CTS) http://www.cts.com.tw.
Date of broadcast to be confirmed.
